For companies in the EU, EEA and Switzerland · Build in India. Enter India. Scale Globally.

An India engineering team that works your European day, and answers your risk team

For European scale-ups, mid-market companies and regulated firms building in India, with the GDPR, DORA and NIS2 questions handled upfront rather than discovered at procurement.

Why now

Why the India conversation is live in Europe

Hiring pressure cuts both ways

European technology companies compete for senior engineers with every other employer on the continent, including remote-first ones. An India capability widens the pool instead of raising the bid.

A working day that actually overlaps

IST is fixed at UTC+5:30 with no daylight saving, so a shared working day with Europe is straightforward rather than aspirational. Your afternoon is an Indian evening.

Europe builds for export

European products are built to sell beyond their home market. For several categories, India is a credible next market — and one almost nobody approaches systematically.

One rulebook across the bloc

The GDPR, transfer-mechanism and vendor-risk questions are the same across the bloc, so the answers we've worked out apply right across your footprint.

Three ways we work with you

Build in India. Enter India. Partner in India.

What we do is the same in every market. The time zones, regulations and questions your risk team asks are not — that's the rest of this page.

Time zones

IST (UTC+5:30, no daylight saving) is 4.5 hours ahead of Central European Time in winter and 3.5 hours ahead in European summer time. For the UK it is 5.5 hours ahead in winter and 4.5 in summer. European afternoons overlap Indian evenings, and we agree core hours per engagement, including running a team aligned to your local hours where required.

What European buyers ask

GDPR and transfers to India

Personal data moving from the EU/EEA or UK to India needs a lawful transfer mechanism, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, and usually a transfer assessment.

DORA for financial entities

EU financial entities must run due diligence and hold specific contractual terms (service levels, audit and access rights, exit, subcontracting) before onboarding an ICT third party.

NIS2 supply-chain security

Essential and important entities are expected to manage the security of their suppliers, including how incidents are reported and handled.

AI and automation work

If we build AI features for you, the EU AI Act's risk-based rules may apply to what is built and how it is used.

How we handle it

What we commit to

  • +A data processing agreement, and cross-border transfer terms where your law requires them, agreed as part of contracting
  • +Audit and inspection rights, subcontracting disclosure and exit plans agreed upfront
  • +A named partner accountable for the engagement
  • +Plain answers on contracting entity, governing law and certification status: engagements are contracted with Bhuvi Venture Labs LLP, incorporated in India, under Indian law

FAQ

Common questions

Not currently. Where there is a committed client requirement, we will establish one and contract under the applicable local law; a fully operational EU setup would typically take 8–12 weeks, depending on jurisdiction.

This page summarises the questions buyers in this market commonly raise. It is not legal advice; requirements depend on your sector and change over time, so confirm them with your own counsel. We describe what we commit to contractually, and we're direct about what we don't have yet. See Trust & Compliance.
